2015 is declared as ‘Turkish Year’ in Australia. Similarly, 2016 will be celebrated as ‘Australian Year’ in Turkey to let Turkish and Australian peoples to know each other in a better way.
Foreign Ministers of both countries, Mr. Kevin Rudd and Mr. Ahmet Davutoglu agreed on declaring 2015 and 2016 as Turkey and Australia years in Australia and Turkey receptively to improve bilateral social and cultural relations.
As an artist, this excites me very much. Such an initiative is open to endless possibilities and therefore I already started working on several plans either solo or with other groups. More news on this later.
